In 2025, Sage Interiors is honored to once again design the prestigious Northwest Idea House—a 5,428-square-foot masterpiece in Gig Harbor that will showcase the latest technology, high design, and innovative living. These homes are unveiled only once every four years, and this is our second time in eight years being chosen to shape the future of Northwest design. We consider this both a privilege and a testament to the trust our community has placed in us.

Not sure what to do with existing furniture? We’ll thoughtfully incorporate meaningful pieces into your design, or if you prefer a fresh start, our trusted in-house delivery team can collect and donate them to the local Furniture Bank. It’s the gift that keeps on giving—helping families in need while giving you space to embrace a new beginning.

A Thoughtful, Flexible Process
Every design journey with Sage Interiors begins with a design deposit, which allows our team to fully dive into your vision. Because every home and every client is unique, deposits typically start at just $500 for just the one room to $5000 for a whole home, with the amount credited back toward your furniture purchases.
We don’t believe in rigid rules or cookie-cutter policies. Instead, we tailor each project to you—your home, your lifestyle, and your goals. From the first conversation to the final detail, our process is collaborative, flexible, and centered on making your dream home a reality.

How We Work:
Connect & Discover
We begin by connecting—most often with a Zoom call where you can “walk and talk” us through your project. This first step is about listening, understanding your needs, and giving you a sense of whether Sage Interiors is the right fit for you. It can be as simple as a quick 10-minute chat, or a deeper design conversation that lasts up to an hour. And yes—we’ll touch on budget, always with mindfulness and transparency.
Home Visit
Next, your designer will visit your home. During this session we’ll measure with precision and take a full scope of your space—considering light, color tones, textures, and any existing pieces you’d like to keep, refresh, or mix in. This ensures our design feels natural, layered, and perfectly suited to you.
Design Development
Behind the scenes, your designer will craft comprehensive, head-to-toe presentations that align perfectly with your budget. Through thoughtfully prepared floor plans, mood boards, and scaled design schematics, we balance function, flow, and aesthetics so you can truly envision your transformed space.
This step is about more than just selecting furniture—it’s about creating harmony. You’ll not only see the layout and how each piece works together, but also feel the vibe of your new home through carefully curated textures, colors, and finishes.
Presentation Day
This is where the magic happens. We unveil your personalized design—either virtually or, more often, in our historic Sage Interiors Gallery, where you can touch, feel, and experience many of the suggested pieces.
Together with your designer, you’ll review, refine, and select the elements you love. Anything that doesn’t feel right is easily swapped out. Once your selections are finalized, we handle the orders for you.
Live in a Home You Love
Our trusted in-house white glove delivery team carefully delivers and places each piece, ensuring your design is staged beautifully and feels complete. From start to finish, Sage Interiors makes the process seamless, so you can simply enjoy your home, your story, and your new beginning.

NICOLE
My mission has always been to share my love for sustainable and timeless design with others and help them create homes that are uniquely their own.
I’ve curated Sage Interiors’ signature collections, furnishings and decor to provide a wide range of styles and designs so you can add a little eco-chic and sustainable luxury to your life. I am proud to be a guiding hand to my clients and help them not only discover their personal style, but to bring it to life through our design services, fabulous collections, unique pieces from soulful makers, and our fantastic delivery team.
KAITLYN
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Arts and Design with a focus in Furniture Design. Craving a more global design perspective, I furthered my education, moving to Florence, Italy to achieve my Master of Arts at the Florence Institute of Design International.
Celebrating the subtleties of a person, their individual style, and the products that fill their lives are what originally drew me to furniture design and what continues to pull me towards home interiors. At Sage we understand that life is made up of bigger pictures and finite details; I feel the design of your home should embrace both whole-heartedly. Amplified by the architecture and cultures I encountered while living abroad, I design to create authentic spaces in which someone walks into their home and instantly feels like the truest version of themselves.
Every design experience at Sage is unique as no one person is the same. Appreciating clients for exactly who they are is what allows me to approach each space with fresh eyes and a tailored vision.
GRACE
Born and raised in Washington, I have always been drawn to the arts, whether it be design, painting, or fashion.
With a background in home staging, and my associate degree in Interiors Design and certificate in Sustainable Design, I have a deep appreciation for the individuality of designing a home directly with clients. I am passionate about creating new life in a space with a unique palette of color, materials and textures to create a holistic design at Sage Interiors. I love honoring sentimental pieces to create a holistic final custom look my clients will love to live in for years to come.
